Juliet Forsyth specialises in planning, environmental, land valuation and administrative law. She regularly appears in VCAT and Planning Panels Victoria in matters relating to town planning and environmental issues. She has appeared in a number of high profile, significant and long running EES cases and government inquiry hearings. She has experience in the Supreme Court in relation to appeals from VCAT, restrictive covenants, land valuation, compulsory acquisition and judicial review. She also has experience in Freedom of Information and Privacy Act disputes. 

As part of her town planning practice, she appears and advises on a wide range of matters including medium and high density residential development, commercial and industrial land use and development issues, heritage, precinct structure planning and development contributions.

As part of her environmental law practice, she appears and advises on cases involving land contamination, extractive industry, hazardous waste, noise emissions, odour emissions, forestry operations, ground and surface water, impacts on flora and fauna and other ecological issues.
