William has a Master of Laws (specialising in Intellectual Property), and a Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MEI) at the Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship.
He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors; a Past President of the Chinese Professional and Business Association of Victoria (www.cpba.com.au); a sessional Instructor at Leo Cussen Institute on Intellectual Property and Commercial & Corporate Practice; a sessional tutor at Monash University Law Faculty on Contracts Law and Corporations Law; a sessional lecturer at the Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship, Swinburne University on Opportunity Evaluation, and Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Marketing, and a member of the prestigious Malaysian Corporate Round Table of the Asian Strategy and Leadership Institute (www.asli.com.my)

Specific advisory and interest areas includes board representation, private equity and venture capital issues, public listed company issues, ASEAN networks, computer and internet related area, martial arts and the law, retirement village and aged care, wine and vineyards, and fisheries.
William is also admitted to practice in the Northern Territory, the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania and Queensland, and has been approved for admission in New Zealand.
He is also able to assist clients to solve legal or other issues in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Vietnam and China.
