Natalie’s primary practice is in criminal law, but she also accepts briefs in quasi criminal, family law and public law matters.

Prior to being called to the bar, Natalie was a Principal Prosecutor at the Commonwealth DPP. At the Commonwealth DPP, Natalie gained significant experience in a range of crime types including complex drug matters, child sex offences, human trafficking, white collar crime, regulatory offences and ACT Territory offences committed in Jervis Bay. Natalie has appeared in most Australian jurisdictions, including in bail hearings, summary contests, summary and indictable pleas and appeals.

Natalie commenced her career in the Appeals Division of the Family Court of Australia as a Legal Associate to the Honourable Justice Strickland. In this role, Natalie gained an in-depth knowledge of the Family Law Act and the practice and procedure in this jurisdiction.

Natalie has also worked as a tutor at the University of South Australia in the following subjects: Statutory Interpretation, Foundations of Public Law and Business Law.

Natalie is reading with Ruth Champion. Her senior mentors are Patrick Doyle SC and Martin Bartfeldt KC.
