PROFILE

Josh accepts briefs to appear in criminal and quasi-criminal law matters across all metropolitan and regional courts.

Josh also accepts briefs to appear in family law, intervention order and child protection proceedings.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Josh practised as a solicitor advocate at Victoria Legal Aid's Ringwood, Ballarat and Broadmeadows offices. He appeared as an advocate regularly in the Magistrates' Court, Children's Court and County Court across a range of summary and indictable matters, including bail applications, plea hearings, appeals, committal mentions and contested hearings. Whilst at Victoria Legal Aid, Josh kept carriage of a large volume of complex indictable matters including sexual offences, drug trafficking and serious violent offences. 

Before working at Victoria Legal Aid, Josh worked with a boutique law firm that specialised in criminal and family law.
