Sharon practises principally in criminal law as a criminal trial advocate.  She holds an Indictable Crime Certificate from the Victorian Bar; and is on the VLA Preferred Trial Counsel List.  She is an elected member of the Criminal Bar Association Committee, lead counsel in the VLA Junior Trial Counsel program and a mentor on the CBA and Women in Crime Mentor programs. 

She also appears in coronial inquests and other public inquiries.

Sharon started out in general practise as a solicitor advocate and spent a year working for Aboriginal Legal Aid in the Northern Territory.

She has been committed to the Community Sector, working as a volunteer in various capacities since 1996.  She is presently on the Board of TheatreWorks.
