PROFILE

Prior to signing the Bar Roll in May 2003, Garry Hindson was an Associate to a County Court Judge. He also worked as a solicitor in the Industrial Relations and Employment Group at Blake Dawson Waldron where he completed his articles.

Before becoming a lawyer, Garry was a member of Victoria Police for 17 years. During that time he performed duties including acting as a police prosecutor where he conducted numerous committal hearings, contested matters and bail applications. Garry has also worked at the Building Commission where he managed the Practitioner Compliance Unit and oversaw the prosecution of Building Act breaches and inquiry matters before the Building Practitioners'

Board.

Garry has also worked as a volunteer solicitor with the SouthPort Community Legal Service and was previously a part-time member of the Liquor Licensing Panel of Liquor Licensing Victoria.
