Luisa F Alampi (B.A., LL.B) was admitted to practice in November 2000 and signed the Bar Roll in November 2008.

She has extensive experience in acting for and against local Councils and construction professionals including building surveyors, architects, engineers and land surveyors, typically under their professional indemnity policies.

Prior to signing the Bar Roll, Luisa was employed as a Senior Associate at Moray & Agnew and a solicitor at DLA Phillips Fox. She also worked in the Victorian Public Service completing the VPS Graduate Recruitment Scheme.

Luisa's experience with government authorities and agencies includes applications and claims under sections 87, 94 and 114 of the Planning and Environment Act, section 35 of the Environment Protection Act, sections 16 and 157 of the Water Act, land contamination, planning scheme amendments, and breaches of the Privacy Act and Freedom of Information Act in relation to the disclosure of personal information.

As a result of her private and public sector employment, Luisa has gained a sound understanding of the workings of government, particularly local government, and the framework within which they operate.

Luisa regularly appears in the Supreme Court, County Court, Magistrates' Court and Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. She has also appeared in the Federal Magistrates' Court.
