Anna Goldthorp (B.A., LL.B.) was admitted to practice in 2002 and signed the Bar Roll In 2008. Prior to coming to the Bar, Anna worked for Gillian Coote Family Law, a boutique family law practice in Camberwell where she practised exclusively in family law and related jurisdictions. Before that she was a solicitor at Coadys where her practice consisted primarily of family law and related matters and also included employment law and equal opportunity matters. Anna has a broad range of experience in family law including children issues, property and child support matters. In particular, she has extensive experience in children's matters and has regularly appeared on behalf of the Independent Children's Lawyer. Prior to coming to the Bar Anna was appointed to the Victoria Legal Aid's Independent Children's Lawyers Panel. Whilst a solicitor, Anna regularly appeared in the State and Federal Magistrates Courts, Children's Court, Family Court and the Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal. She has undertaken pro-bono work at Community Legal Centres throughout her practice where she has dealt with a wide range of general matters. She also has a keen interest in guardianship and administration matters. Anna is also available to draft documents in family law matters.
