Aphrodite Kouloubaritsis (B.A., LLB.(Hons)) was admitted to practice in 2006 and signed the Bar Roll In 2008. Prior to coming to the Bar, Aphrodite worked in the commercial litigation department at Holding Redlich. During this time, Aphrodite worked on a wide variety of matters, including equity, contractual, corporations, property and trade practices disputes in both the Supreme and Federal Courts. At Holding Redlich Aphrodite also gained insolvency experience by working on matters for the Deed Administrators of Ansett in the Supreme Court and an Opes Prime matter in the Federal Court. Between 2005 and 2007, Aphrodite was employed in the litigation department at Arnold Bloch Leibler where she worked on a diverse range of matters including a Commission of Inquiry, a High Court insolvency appeal and an ACCC Federal Court civil penalty proceeding. Prior to private practice, Aphrodite worked for three and a half years in the Courts System. In 2002 she worked as a legal researcher at the Victorian Court of Appeal. Between 2003 and 2005 Aphrodite worked at the Federal Court, as a legal researcher for twelve months, and for sixteen months as Associate to the Hon Justice Finkelstein.
