Aggy Kapitaniak (B.A., LL.B.(Monash)) was admitted to practice in January 2006 and signed the Bar Roll in May 2008.

She has experience in the litigation of a wide range of employment law, discrimination and equal opportunity matters where she appeared regularly in the Federal Court, Federal Magistrates Court, County Court and Magistrates Court. She also has in-house experience in the State Government where she was part of a team investigating and prosecuting breaches of statutory entitlements.

Aggy has worked in commercial firms and also for community legal centres, most recently JobWatch. Before this she practised in the area of crime, with particular focus on federal criminal offences and fitness to plead and capacity matters.

Aggy sits on the board of Liberty Victoria and has a special interest in human rights and philanthropy.
