Nandi Segbedzi (LLB, BA (Hons)) was admitted to practice in 1999 and signed the Bar Roll in 2006.

Prior to signing the Bar Roll, she undertook her articles and practised as a solicitor for five years at Blake Dawson Waldron in the areas of industrial relations, employment and occupational health and safety law. During her years of practice she represented employer clients in the food, technology, manufacturing and construction industries. In particular, she worked on a long-running and complex industrial dispute in the meat industry, which involved multiple Federal Court and AIRC proceedings.

Nandi later worked as a Senior Lawyer at WorkSafe Victoria at the time of the introduction of the new Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004. This provided a unique opportunity to advise in the areas of health and safety, the interaction of State and Federal employment law and to assist in the introduction of a new administrative law regime within WorkSafe. She also advised and represented WorkSafe in licensing matters.
