Fiona McKenzie (B.A. LL.B (Mon), LLM (ANU)) was admitted in 1985 and signed the Bar Roll in 2006. She has practised as a solicitor at Blake Dawson Waldron for six years. Prior to that she worked at the Australian Government Solicitors office in Melbourne. Fiona has conducted litigation in Federal and State courts and tribunals, with a focus on administrative law, regulatory prosecutions, and public service employment issues. She has also advised government and corporate clients on statutory interpretation, administrative discretions, and delegation issues. Fiona lectures in the Juris Doctor course at the University of Melbourne, conducts administrative law training and has recently written a book, Administrative Power and the Law (see www.adminlaw.com.au).
