Elizabeth Ruddle (B.Sc., LL.B) was admitted to practice in 2003 and signed the Bar Roll in March 2005. Elizabeth has a broad practice, practicing both commercial and criminal law with experience in jurisdictions ranging from VCAT to the Supreme Court. Elizabeth’s commercial practices focuses on property related areas including building, planning and tenancies as well as commercial disputes large and small. She is especially experienced at navigating the various VCAT jurisdictions and assisting her instructors with that process. Elizabeth’s criminal practice includes contested and plea hearings, bail applications and intervention orders. Elizabeth has significant experience in mediation and alternative dispute resolution procedures, and has been a judge at the Willem C Vis International Arbitration Moot competition in Vienna. She is experienced with mediation in all its forms, including VCAT compulsory conferences, court ordered mediations and Small Business Commissioner mediations.
