Juliet Forsyth (LL.B., (Hons), B.Sc.) was admitted to practice and signed the Bar Roll in 2001. Juliet specialises in environmental and planning law. She has appeared in a number of significant and long running EES cases as well as appearing regularly in VCAT and Planning Panels Victoria in matters relating to town planning and environmental issues. She also has experience in dealing with disputes about land contamination issues. She has acted for government agencies/departments, local councils, developers/proponents and objectors. As well as being a specialist in town planning issues, including medium and high density residential development and industrial land use issues, she has particular expertise in cases regarding wind farms, land contamination, hazardous waste, noise emissions, odour emissions, forestry operations, ground and surface water, impacts on flora and fauna and other ecological issues.
