Sharon Johns (B.A., LL.B.) was admitted to practice in 1992 and signed the Bar Roll in 1998.

Prior to signing the Bar Roll, Sharon was a Senior Associate at Barker Gosling, where she practised exclusively in family law. She was a member of the Law Institute of Victoria's Family Law Section Court Practice Committee and Property and Maintenance Committee. In 1997, Sharon presented a paper entitled "Obtaining Financial Information" on the Television Education Network's family law video. Sharon has also presented papers on family law for the Law Institute of Victoria. She presented a paper for the Leo Cussen Institute entitled 'CGT-Traps and flash points for Family Lawyers.

Sharon has specialised in the practice of family law since her admission. Sharon practices in the family law jurisdiction (including de facto matters), appearing in pre-trial applications and trials and preparing paper work.
