Colin L. Lovitt Q.C. (B.A., LL.B.) was admitted in Victoria in 1969 and signed the Bar Roll in 1970. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1988. He is a member and former Chairman of the Criminal Bar Association; a member of the Organising Committee, Australian Criminal Lawyers' Association; and delivered a paper entitled "Reforming the Law of Murder" at the Reform of the Criminal Law Conference, Lincoln's Inn in 1987.
