Sandra MacDougall was articled to Ronald C. Beazley, Victorian Government Solicitor. She then practised as a solicitor in the Litigation Branch of the Victorian Government Solicitor's office for nearly five years representing a wide range of government clients. Her practice included: defending civil litigation against the police; coronial inquests; Crimes (Family Violence) matters; defamation; personal injuries; administrative law; interpleaders; charities; torts other than personal injuries; and land valuation and compensation matters.Sandra read with Danny Masel.
Since signing the Bar Roll she has appeared regularly in all state courts and at VCAT. She has appeared in the County Court both at trial and on appeal in criminal and civil cases. Sandra is a Victoria Legal Aid Criminal Trial Preferred barrister.
