Samuel practises principally in commercial law and criminal law. He also accepts briefs to appear in administrative law and common law jurisdictions.

Samuel has experience in corporations, defamation, insolvency, consumer law and common law, drawing from his experience as Associate to The Honourable Justices Judd and Digby at the Supreme Court of Victoria between 2013 – 2015.

Samuel also accepts briefs in criminal matters, drawing upon his experience as Associate to The Honourable Justice Hansen in the Court of Appeal. In this role, Samuel assisted His Honour drafting rulings and judgements pertaining to a range of criminal and administrative law proceedings.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Samuel worked at Herbert Smith Freehills in the Litigation and Advocacy Team. He was involved in matters involving the fiduciary obligations that arise from breaches in partnership agreements and LLP deeds.  

He accepts briefs to appear, to advise and to prepare pleadings in commercial and in criminal law matters.

Samuel holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from Melbourne University.
