Since coming to the Bar, Robyn Harper has appeared for both the prosecution and defence in the Supreme, County and Magistrates' Courts in matters including:

  • trials in the County Court
  • trials in the County Court as Junior Counsel
  • Pleas and Appeals in the County Court
  • Mental impairment matters
  • Bail applications in the Supreme, County and Magistrates' Courts
  • Pleas, contest hearings and contested committals in the Magistrates' Court
  • Intervention orders
  • VOCAT applications

Robyn has drafted written submissions for the Court of Appeal for both prosecution and defence, and has appeared to prosecute local council and Worksafe matters. She has also appeared in the Children's Court in both the criminal and family jurisdictions.

In 2012, Robyn was one of 12 junior counsel accepted into the Trial Counsel Development Program with Victoria Legal Aid (VLA). In 2015, she has been designated a VLA Criminal Trial Preferred barrister. Robyn is also an accredited specialist criminal law advocate under the Victorian Bar's Indictable Crime Certificate program.

Between 2005 - 2009, Robyn worked as a solicitor at the Office of Public Prosecutions in both Melbourne and circuit courts.
