Former solicitor at Deacons (commercial litigation).  Former Associate to a Supreme Court Judge. Former reporter for the Victorian Reports.

Nicholas has considerable experience in the Supreme Court (including the Court of Appeal), the Federal Court, the County Court, VCAT and in commercial arbitrations.  Nicholas has appeared in the High Court on a number of occasions.  He has a broad commercial practise, with particular expertise in corporations/insolvency and building and construction.  Nicholas has recently appeared at the hearing of a major commercial arbitration relating to the telecommunications industry.  He is a member of the Commercial Bar Association of the Victorian Bar. Nicholas is entitled to practise in all jurisdictions in Australia.
