Profile

Sam Tatarka appears in the Family Court and the Federal Circuit Court in complex property matters and practises in all areas of the family law/de facto jurisdiction.

Sam has a broad based commercial practice in the County and Supreme Courts of Victoria, the Federal Court  and equivalent courts interstate that includes strategic advice and representation in Wills and Estates, contractual disputes, trade practices and consumer litigation, insurance litigation and building cases. He has experience in corporations law, banking and finance, sale of business and engineering cases.

Sam also advises and represents lawyers facing investigation and prosecution by the Legal Services Board and the Legal Services Commissioner as well as in civil claims in VCAT’s Legal Practice and Civil Claims Lists. He represents and advises parties in reviews before the Costs Court and has extensive professional negligence experience and expertise.
