David Brustman was admitted to practice in 1974 and signed the Bar Roll in 1975.
David is an experienced advocate practicing predominantly in criminal matters with experience in a wide range of jurisdictions. He has extensive experience in the conduct of jury trials and in particular homicide cases in the Supreme Court. David was invited to participate in the review process undertaken by the Victorian Law Reform Commission in relation to the law of homicide in 2004.
David has appeared in many complex and notable criminal matters both in Victoria and interstate. In particular he established a busy trial practice in the Northern Territory.
David is available to accept briefs in criminal and related matters at all levels and in all jurisdictions.
David is also a keen pilot with experience and a particular interest in a wide range of matters relating to aviation.
